Improving obstacle awareness for robotic harvesting of sweet-pepper.
Natuurproducten kenmerken zich door een grote variatie aan vorm, kleur, rijpheid en grootte die versterkt wordt door seizoensverschillen en weersinvloeden. In het proefschrift van TechNature’s oprichter Wouter Bac is terug te zien dat deze natuurlijke variatie een uitdaging vormt bij automatisering van complexe taken zoals selectief oogsten van paprika’s. Beter omgaan met natuurlijke variatie bij automatiserings-processen vormde een van de drijfveren om van start te gaan met TechNature.
