This project investigates use of chlorophyll fluorescence to measure the development of tomato plants. Growers require reliable and accurate measurement data from their plants (stem development, fruit size etc.) to determine if climate conditions should be adapted. Through these measurements the grower timely identify growth limitations (e.g. stress) that are not yet visible for the human eye.
This project is a collaboration between Ehime University, Plant Data Holland / Plant Data Japan, Wageningen University and Research – Farm Technology Group and TechNature B.V.
